Damon Smith

Skeletons', the new offering from Australia's Damon Smith is primarily a piano-centric, New Orleans-style blues/jazz record - with both the usual hallmarks of the genre but also a uniquely refreshing take on the style. Smith's razor-sharp wit, virtuosic piano style, and 'whiskey as' voice are complemented by guest performances from the likes of some of Australia's greatest musicians.

Produced by Australian musical legend, Jeff Lang and featuring guitarist Dave Brewer, 'A Fresh Harvest From Old Seeds' is in many ways a musical nod to Smith's acclaimed, 2021 debut film "Mental As Everything" which screened internationally and took out numerous awards. Lyrically, this album is a powerful testament to the potency of change and keeping his popular New Orleans piano style in check.
