Herr Nilsson

Now in their 24th year as a band, Norwegian indie-pop mainstays Herr Nilsson Return with their sixth full-length studio album, Good Morning Rock And Roll, releasing September 4th, 2026, via Apollon Records. Formed in Bergen in 2003, the six-piece has maintained an unbroken streak of gathering for rehearsal every second Wednesday for over two decades. Rooted in classic alternative pop-drawing inspiration from The Byrds, The Velvet Underground, The Beach Boys, - their sound combines jangly guitar hooks with unexpected twists, adventurous arrangements, and an infectious enthusiasm for life. Produced by former bandmate Einar Olsson at Bergen Flesk Studio, Good Morning Rock And Roll pushes the Herr Nilsson sound further in every direction. The pop is catchier, the choruses are bigger, the tangents are weirder, and the rock hits harder.
