Unwed Sailor: High Remembrance (Clear/Ltd) [Vinyl LP]

Unwed Sailor: Firecracker EP [CD]

'Originally released in the Summer of 2001 and falling quickly out of print, Burnt Toast Vinyl is thrilled to be able to offer the Unwed Sailor full length, "The Faithful Anchor". Lead by bassist Johnathon Ford, "The Faithful Anchor" captures the band's trademark melodic instrumental, energetic sound, mixing in Eno-esque ambience and adding just a hint of experimentalism. Ford adds vocals to the final track, 'The Quiet Hour,' further stretching the boundaries of Unwed Sailor's sound. Perhaps the most prolific bassist in indie-rock Johnathon Ford perfoms with many successful bands, including his Roadside Monument, Pedro The Lion, and Damien Jurado. Standard Jewel Case/Box Lot-50

Unwed Sailor: Circles EP [CD]

The White Ox continues on from where The Marionette and the Music Box left off with "Shadows"echoing those staccato melodies, but channeling them through a dark dream of ambient effects. The band is set for a solid month in Europe with 30+ datesin Germany, Holland, Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, and the UK during September and October. They'll be back in the US to tour in support of the formal release of The White Ox, carrying on downthe lonesome, always stretching road.

Unwed Sailor have been innovators in instrumental rock since their 1998 debut release. Their signature sound is based around Johnathon Ford's leading bass melodies, melodic string keyboard arrangements, intricate rhythms, and sparkling chime like guitars. With Little Wars, their 4th full-length, the band returns to their energetic, melodic beginnings, reflecting the power of their popular live show.
