Recently retired insurance actuary Warren Schimdt (Jack Nicholson) is struggling to adjust to his newfound freedom and finds his wife Helen (June Squibb) extremely irritating. When she suddenly dies, Warren discovers some letters indicating that she once had an affair with his friend and was therefore also unhappy in the marriage. This spurs Warren to take to the road and he sets out on a two-week journey across country to attend his daughter's wedding. However, when he arrives at his destination, he not only has to deal with his doubts about the marriage, but also has to take on the groom's hippy mother Roberta (Kathy Bates).

Typ: Blu-ray
