Each claims only to vaguely remember meeting Samuels in a nightclub, but when Mitchell's cap and wallet are found in the dead man's apartment, it seems that he is guilty of murder. Mitchell's friend, Sergeant Keeley (Mitchum), springs to his defence, and helps Finlay crack the case.
