Directed by Oliver Stone, the film traces the group's road to success, from their first rehearsal sessions through to their sell-out live concerts and follows Morrison on the self-destructive path which would eventually lead to his demise. The cast also includes Kevin Dillon, Meg Ryan and Kyle MacLachlan.

Ju framgångsrikare The Doors blir, desto mer ökar Morrisons fixering vid döden.
