Kultklassikern Caligula är en film full av galenskap och förstörelse, som fångar maktens korrumperande inflytande över människan. Den nya Ultimate Cut-versionen är full av tidigare bortklippta scener och skapad utifrån originalmanuset.

An all new version of the most controversial film ever made, Caligula: The Ultimate Cut features never-before-seen footage of the shocking cult classic. Haunted by the murder of his entire family, Caligula (Malcolm McDowell) seizes control of the declining Roman Empire, beginning a tyrannical reign of depravity, destruction, and madness. With art by Dave McKean.

Malcolm McDowell stars as the titular Roman emperor in this erotic historical drama which chronicles his rise and fall. After the death of his great-uncle Tiberius (Peter O'Toole), Caligula is proclaimed the new emperor. He wants to be with his sister and lover Drusilla (Teresa Ann Savoy) but she insists they cannot marry and so instead he weds Caesonia (Helen Mirren). However, although he is initially popular with the people, the Senate soon disapproves of his increasingly self-indulgent and extravagant behaviour. As darker and crueller aspects of his personality emerge, a plot to assassinate him gains momentum. This Ultimate Cut has been re-edited using the original camera negatives to incorporate alternative footage and follow the original screenplay more closely.

Typ: Blu-ray / 4K Ultra HD

Set in Berlin in 1939, as the Nazi dictatorship marches inexorably towards war, SS officer Helmut Wallenburg (Helmut Berger) is commanded to establish a brothel catering to the Nazi elite. Wallenburg diligently selects and trains 20 young Aryan women committed to the ideals of National Socialism and prepared to degrade themselves for their masters, setting the scene for an exercise in debauchery and corruption that parallels de Sade's 'One Hundred and Twenty Days of Sodom', and reflects the growing violence and depravity of the Nazi regime.

Typ: Blu-ray
