Distraught and wondering what to do with himself, Bucky ends up at a friend's house, where he is amazed to recognise his parents as the stars of the classic porn flick his friends put on to try and cheer him up. Amazed by the secret history of his mother and father, Bucky decides to head to Los Angeles to try and follow in their footsteps. Along the way he strikes up a friendship with a waitress, Kathy McGee (Christina Ricci), and finally finds someone prepared to give him a chance in the adult industry, the director Miles Deep (Don Johnson).
