When it emerges that Emily is to be sent away against her will to live with her father, David agrees to help her hide out in a remote cave on the beach. But as fears grow that Emily has been kidnapped and a large-scale police search gets underway, David finds himself swept up in a situation out of his control and resorts to drastic measures to protect his friend.
