Set in Cumbria in 1348, a young boy named Griffin (Hamish McFarlane) has a prophetic vision of how to save his village from the encroaching Black Death; they must make a tribute to God by placing a spire on a distant cathedral before dawn. To honour the prophecy, a small band of brave believers start on a journey in search of the cathedral. They climb down a deep tunnel, seemingly endless, but emerge in 20th-century Auckland, New Zealand, having been through the middle of the Earth. Once there, the medieval travellers must cope with the bizarre modern world whilst attempting to complete their quest.

Typ: Blu-ray
