In 'A Grand Day Out' (1989) Wallace runs out of his favourite Wensleydale cheese on Boxing Day and cannot find a shop open to replenish his stock. The only solution he can think of is to fly his homemade rocket to the biggest block of cheese in the universe: the moon. In 'The Wrong Trousers' (1993) Wallace and Gromit cross paths with ruthless criminal Feathers McGraw, a penguin who disguises himself as a chicken and has a plan to use Wallace's Techno Trousers to commit robbery. In 'A Close Shave' (1995) Wallace becomes infatuated with Wendolene (Anne Reid) who owns a wool shop. Meanwhile, Gromit becomes interested in the case of some disappearing sheep and identifies Wendolene's dog Preston as the culprit. However, when the devious dog frames Gromit for the crime and he is imprisoned, he needs Wallace and the sheep, led by Shaun, to break him out. Finally, in 'A Matter of Loaf and Death' (2008), the pair have converted their home into the 'Top Bun' bakery - complete with a rooftop windmill - but with 12 local bakers having gone mysteriously missing, Gromit worries that they will soon complete the baker's dozen. Wallace, meanwhile, is oblivious to the danger, and with his master otherwise engaged, it's up to Gromit to solve the mystery before Wallace becomes the next victim.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

When Charles is caught up in the terrors of the French Revolution, Carton risks everything to rescue the husband of the woman he loves. In 'Great Expectations' (1999), Ioan Gruffudd plays orphan Pip, helped to become a gentleman in society by a mysterious benefactor. Thinking that he is being groomed by the reclusive and bitter Miss Havisham (Charlotte Rampling), Pip is shocked to find that his benefactor is the vicious convict Magwitch (Bernard Hill), who Pip helped escape from the Essex marshes when he was a boy. In 'David Copperfield' (1999), the titular hero (played as a young boy by Daniel Radcliffe) progresses through an uncertain life, helped along the way by debtor Mr Micawber (Bob Hoskins) and his aunt Betsy (Maggie Smith). By the time David grows up (played by Ciaran McMenamin), he decides to make a better life for himself. In 'The Pickwick Papers' (1985), Nigel Stock stars as the founder of the Pickwick Club, undergoing many eccentric and chaotic adventures. Finally, in 'Our Mutual Friend' (1998), an adaptation of Dickens' darkest book, a mysterious death by the banks of the Thames links the lives of two young women, Lizzie Hexam (Keeley Hawes) and Bella Wilfer (Anna Friel).<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD / Box Set</i>
