"Up Against The Wall Redneck Mother" was written by Ray Wylie Hubbard and appeared on Jerry Jeff Walker’s album Viva Terlingua. “Night Rider’s Lament” was written by Michael Burton and made famous by Jerry Jeff Walker on the album, Ridin’ High. These two songs were recorded by Steve Earle in Nashville, TN. This recording is pressed on a clear vinyl 7” record at 45 rpm. This pressing is limited to 4,000 copies worldwide.

Bland gästerna märks bland andra Stax-legendaren William Bell, som sjunger på en av plattans höjdpunkter "Never Want to Be Kissed".<br/><br/>Inför inspelningen av "Set Sail" valde bröderna Dickinson att addera två nya medlemmar till bandet; basisten Jesse Williams och sångaren Lamar Williams Jr, son till Allman Brothers-basisten Lamar Williams Sr.<br/><br/>På "Set Sail" skapar North Mississippi Allstars en funky mix av folk, blues, soul och psykedelisk rock.
