In 'Police Story' (1985) police officer Chan Ka-Kui (Chan) is assigned to protect informant Selina (Brigitte Lin), who is due to testify against crime lord Chu Tao (Chor Yuen). When she refuses this assistance Chan stages a mock assassination attempt in order to ensure her compliance. However, after discovering Chan's ruse, Selina does not attend the trial and Chu Tao is released on bail. With Chu Tao back on the streets Selina is in more danger than ever before. Can Chan protect her and finally bring Chu Tao to justice? In 'Police Story 2' (1988) Chan has been demoted to traffic duties following his heavy-handed manner. With the other heirs attempting to stop Joyce from fulfilling the terms of her inheritance, only Wally Campbell (Hope) strives to help Joyce survive the night mentally and physically intact. In 'Sabata' (1970) gunslinger Sabata (Lee Van Cleef) is not a popular figure in the town of Daugherty. When he discovers that the town's kingpins are behind a bank heist, he becomes a marked man, unable to trust even his own friends. Sabata is soon headed for a final shoot-out from which there can be only one survivor. In 'Adiós, Sabata' (1971), set in Mexico, bounty hunter Sabata (Yul Brynner) is hired to seize a cartload of gold with his cronies Ballantine (Dean Reed) and Escudo (Ignazio Spalla), only to discover that the loot has already been taken by Colonel Skimmel (Gerard Herter) of the Austrian army. As Sabata sets out to recapture the gold he finds himself siding with Mexican revolutionaries, leading to a number of bloody gunfights. Finally, in 'Return of Sabata' (1971) while working as a stunt marksman with a travelling circus, Sabata (Van Cleef) arrives in a small town where he encounters a man who owes him $5,000. The SS Britannic is in the North Atlantic Ocean with 1,200 passengers on board when an unknown man calling himself Juggernaut informs the shipping line that he has planted several bombs on the ship. Unless a large ransom is paid, the ship will be sunk at dawn the next day. Explosives expert Anthony Fallon (Harris) and his team parachute onto the ship and attempt to diffuse the bombs while police officer John McLeod (Hopkins) leads the investigation into the bomber.
