Written and directed by Neil Marshall, 'The Descent' (2005) follows six female friends on a caving expedition. When the passage behind them collapses, the group are trapped in an unexplored cave system. As they attempt to locate a way out, they discover a den of human and animal bones and are attacked by a race of murderous humanoid creatures who have adapted to live in the darkness. Desperately fighting to survive, will any of them escape? In the sequel, 'The Descent: Part 2' (2009), after Sarah Carter (Shauna MacDonald) is rescued from the Appalachian caves where several of her friends perished, she is made to go back and help to try and locate any other survivors. Sheriff Vaines (Gavan O'Herlihy) is not wholly convinced by Sarah's version of events, especially with regard to the creatures she claims she and her friends encountered in the caves, and so he insists on the expedition. However, it soon becomes clear that every awful thing Sarah told him was true...<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

Martin (Daniel Brocklebank) arranges for himself and three school friends, Mike (Desmond Harrington), Geoff (Laurence Fox) and Frankie (Knightley) to avoid a school field trip to Wales by taking all three of them, along with Liz (Birch), to an old underground bunker. Together the teenagers party for three days, but when Martin doesn't return to let them out, the party atmosphere changes quickly into a living nightmare. Liz is found a few days later walking towards the school, traumatised and covered in blood. She is taken to a police psychologist where she tells her story, but when Martin is later picked up, he gives a very different account of what happened.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

When activist Mark Ashton (Ben Schnetzer) garners support at a Gay Pride rally in London for his plan to raise funds in support of the striking miners, he encounters a surprising impediment to his plan: most mining communities refuse to take money from gay and lesbian groups. However, one Welsh village, Dulais, seem grateful for the support. Mark and his friends hire a minibus and visit the villagers to consolidate the relationship. Though the villagers don't completely accept their visitors straight away, the community, which includes Hefina (Imelda Staunton), Dai (Paddy Considine) and Cliff (Bill Nighy), gradually warm to Mark and his friends as they realise the common causes that bind them.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

As a result, he develops the strongest sense of smell imaginable. Grenouille becomes an apprentice to famed perfumer Giuseppe Baldini (Dustin Hoffman) who helps him to hone his craft. Obsessed with wringing the essence out of everything, the idea occurs to Grenouille that a beautiful, fine smelling woman might make the perfect perfume. Things take a dark turn however and, in his quietly desperate, compulsive search for new odours, nothing can stand between him and the scents he wishes to acquire.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

After hearing strange noises, they realise that they are not alone in the house and, worse, they are being hunted...
