In 'The Mirror Crack'd' (1980), excitement runs high when feuding film stars Marina Rudd (Elizabeth Taylor) and Lola Brewster (Kim Novak) arrive in the sleepy English village of St Mary Mead to begin work on a movie about Mary, Queen of Scots and Elizabeth I. Finally, in 'Evil Under the Sun' (1982), after actress Arlena Stuart Marshall (Diana Rigg) is strangled on a Mediterranean island, there is no shortage of suspects for Poirot (Ustinov) to investigate.
