Pulling together myriad audio sources from audience recordings to sound desk tapes to international radio broadcasts, the set features 16 full audio concert recordings across 14 CDs, plus ca. 2 hours 20 mins of live video on a DVD, recorded between March 1979 through May 1980, just two weeks before Ian Curtis' tragic death.

Audio quality across these sources varies widely. Most of the audience recordings sound exactly like what they are - recorded by a fan in the crowd - and multiple concerts have been widely bootlegged. Although under normal circumstances this might make for a sub-optimal commercial offering, in this instance we have every confidence that Joy Division fans will revel in these official bootlegs, and be overjoyed by the higher quality recordings, especially with those that are previously unheard.

Following on from previous New Order Definitive Edition releases, Eternal will be presented in a 12" rigid box, with the 15 discs presented in 4x digipaks, with an additional softback 12" book featuring new liner notes by UK poet laureate and Joy Division fan Simon Armitage, as well as photography by band photographers Anton Corbijn and Kevin Cummins.

14 CDs - audio from 16 live performances, sourced from audience cassettes, soundboard tapes, and broadcast recordings, all mastered at Abbey Road Studios.
2 DVDs - over 2hrs 30mins of live footage, including the Plan K Brussels concert, two Apollo Theatre Manchester concerts, a soundcheck, and a new edit of Joy Division - A Malcolm Whitehead Film.
1 x 16-page booklet - with personal notes by Simon Armitage and photography by Anton Corbijn and Kevin Cummins.
12" x 12" lift-off lid box - artwork by Warren Jackson, Peter Saville, Howard Wakefield and Brett Wickens, with cover photography (Sirius Through a Defocused Telescope, 2023) by Wolfgang Tillmans.

Last year, Clapton hosted and curated the seventh installment of his Crossroads Guitar Festival on September 23 and 24 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, CA. It notably marked the event's return after a four-year break, selling out the iconic arena on both days. Once again, Clapton carefully assembled a powerhouse cohort of influential guitarists representing various eras and styles. The impressive lineup boasted Joe Bonamassa, Clapton, Gary Clark Jr., Sheryl Crow, Eric Gales, H.E.R., Christone "Kingfish" Ingram, Los Lobos, John Mayer, The Marcus King Band, Roger McGuinn, John McLaughlin, Santana, The Wallflowers, and many more. Not to forget, Bill Murray served as the evening's "Master of Ceremonies."

Coming together, the set rotated between blues staples, American Songbook classics, and generational rock 'n' roll anthems shocked to life by this elite six-string consortium.

The start of a musician's career is not only an intriguing collection of what happened, but maybe even more important is a gaze into what their future might hold. With musical artist Neil Young, Archives Vol. I: 1963-1972 offers the sounds of his first decade, but just as importantly holds a light on the future of what's to come. Young's world of sound and spirit remains a never-ending adventure. It starts here.

Neil Young Archives Vol. I: 1963-1972 is the first in a series of archival box sets encompassing Young's entire career. Vol. I was originally released on June 2, 2009, in three formats: A 10-disc deluxe edition in either Blu-ray or DVD and an 8-disc CD box.

Out of print for over a decade, the 8-CD box set is now being re-issued in its original format - housed in the "Garypak", a unique package designed by Young's long-time art director, the late Gary Burden. Each CD has its own custom sleeve.

Choosing former Roxy Music member and David Bowie collaborator Brian Eno to produce them, Talking Heads expanded their sound greatly for their second album released in 1978. More Songs About Buildings And Food stands amongst the Talking Heads' best work. The influence of producer Brian Eno stands out as he helped propel the band forwards into increasingly innovative territory. The entire album, even the minor hit, an Eno-treated cover version of Al Green's "Take Me To The River," sounds amazingly fresh some thirty-six years later. The CD format includes a blu-ray disc featuring Dolby Atmos, 5.1 and Hi-Res Stereo Mixes as well as two previously unreleased in full live performances captured on video back in 1978.
