One of the most distinctive and revered forces in modern rock music: Sweden's very own GRAVEYARD are back.

Arriving three years after the gloomier "6," GRAVEYARD are turning up the heat by delivering a sonic experience drenched in distortion and way heavier.

Mixed by Pelle Gunnerfeldt who is widely renowned for capturing the ferocious energy of bands such as THE HIVES, REFUSED, and recently VIAGRA BOYS, amidst its sheer drive, GRAVEYARD retained the undeniable, blues-soaked soul that originally defined their breakthrough album, "Hisingen Blues."

Brace for impact, GRAVEYARD came back from the grave and they caught a "Fever."

Down: Volume V 2026 [CD]

(Swedish/English Version)

On their forthcoming 25th studio album, the British heavy metal legends deliver ten powerful, quintessential Saxon songs spanning a broad range of historically charged themes, from ancient mythology to the brutal realities of royal history.

Produced by legendary founder and frontman Biff Byford and mixed by Andy Sneap, Gods of Thunder captures the band at the height of their powers, combining forceful performances with vivid, meticulously crafted storytelling.

Each track is built around the weight, dynamics and intricate arrangements that have long defined Saxon's music, while the album as a whole maintains a strong sense of focus and efficiency.Take "Medusa", driven by a taut, mesmeric riff and delivered at a relentless pace, while the title track, "Gods of Thunder", is a powerful, anthemic journey into the world of Celtic mythology.

Byford's longstanding passion for history is central to the album, with his distinctive storytelling bringing characters and events from the past vividly to life.

On "The Bloody Tower (The Ballad of Anne Boleyn)", he recounts the politically charged execution of Anne Boleyn, while "Remember the Alamo" charges forward with the fast-paced energy and spirit of early '80s NWOBHM.

The twin-guitar attack of Doug Scarratt and Brian Tatler is particularly prominent on "Temple of Rock", underpinned by the rock-solid rhythm section of Nigel Glocker and Tim 'Nibbs' Carter.

The album closes with "MI5", a timeless headbanger that brings together themes of the Berlin Wall and Cold War espionage.Gods of Thunder is a focused, powerful statement from one of British heavy metal's most enduring bands, with Saxon sounding as vital and uncompromising as ever.

When you play Another Nail in the Coffin, Sha-Boom's latest album produced and mixed by renowned producer and collaborator Erik Mårtensson, it is a warm, wonderful, vintage-timeless trip back to the halcyon '80s days when songs and melodies mattered.
Boasting big choruses and plenty of smiles, Another Nail in the Coffin is only interested in bringing you back to days when fun was the name of the rock 'n' roll game. "Never Stop" is pure AOR-style top-down cruising down the highway, "Walk (Far Away)" is like a grand, multi-layered rock 'n' roll sea shanty with a twist of glam, "Another Nail in the Coffin" has the swagger and attitude of early Def Leppard, and "One More Drink for the Road" sees the Sha-Boom family go full-generational, as the daughter of Finn's long-time friend and collaborator Thomas Vikström (Therion, Candlemass) - singer Linnéa Vikström of Thundermother - joins the party.
Throughout, Another Nail in the Coffin boasts timeless, anthemic melodies which exude fun and positivity, free of guilt or shackles.
