During his early musical start in Canada as a teenager, through a move to California in the mid-Sixties to today, six solid decades later, there has only been an unending drive to write songs that are written directly from the soul and performed with pure passion. He is someone who looks within and reflects all he sees and feels. With his band The Chrome Hearts, he continues this expressive excursion recorded in Europe, U.K., U.S. and Canada during The Love Earth Tour 2025.<br/><br/>The music on their new live album - as time explodes, one which captures all of the abilities they've found playing together and responding to the songs and each other. <br/><br/>as time explodes explores the history of Young's songs from his entire catalog. It's a journey through time in the modern age. And by freeing themselves from the past, they can perform some of the most exciting songs of a storied history, always showing how the present sounds, redefining the past and presenting it in the here and now.<br/><br/>The songs featured on as time explodes are timeless and powerful, never more so than in a live, concert setting. The physical release of From Zero (Deluxe Edition) showcases three new songs, five live tracks recorded around the world and all new, expanded packaging. <br/>"Up From the Bottom" was created in between tours this year, infused with the electricity of those first shows back after a long hiatus. "Let You Fade" was a song that began during the From Zero sessions but found its final shape in sessions after the album's release. "Unshatter" was an early track we made while recording From Zero; Emily's huge vocal in the bridge was one of the moments that gave us an indication of what was possible together.<br/>We are so grateful for the incredible reception to From Zero. This new chapter, our continuing journey, and the connection between the band and fans has been more than we could've hoped for.
