Allin GG & The Murder Junkies: Brutality & Bl... [CD]

Described by Rolling Stone magazine as "a glam rock triumph," the multi-faceted rocker Gyasi (Jah-See) delivers his second studio album, "Here Comes The Good Part," a glittery and fun universe filled with infectious hooks and searing guitar riffs, alongside songs of self-transformation. Teaming up with co-producer Bobby Holland, Gyasi expands his sound, exploring a wider palette of musical ideas. Mostly recorded with his touring band, it also features guest appearances by drummer Daru Jones. "Here Comes The Good Part" is a bold exploration of theatrical rock n' roll, through the lens of a small-town West Virginia kid seeking self-discovery.

Black Diamond Heavies: A Touch of Some One El... [CD]

GospelbeacH is Tom Sanford (drums), Brent Rademaker (vocals, guitar), Jason Soda (vocals, guitar), Neal Casal (vocals, guitar), and Kip Boardman (vocals, bass), with guest appearance by Nelson Bragg (vocal harmonies), and Ben Knight (guitar). The five members of GospelbeacH possess a prestigious collective resume that includes membership in Beachwood Sparks, Further, The Tyde, the Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Ryan Adams and the Cardinals, and Everest. But one listen to the quintet's warmly wonderful debut album Pacific Surf Linewill instantly dispel any preconceptions about supergroup self-indulgence or side-project slumming. The album-which Brent and Jason co-produced with Scott Hackwith, known for his studio work with the likes of Spiritualized and the Ramones-embodies an open-hearted optimism that's reflected in the band's sunny, upbeat songcraft, and in the buoyant, organic performances that show off the quintet's uncanny, instinctive chemistry.

On their new roots rock album, "Barnburners!", Handsome Jack keep their sound raw and rugged, delivering a seamless yet unpolished blend of classic rock, swamp rock, and blues that feels instantly familiar while remaining personal and authentic. Fronted by the soulful vocals and remarkable guitar skills of Jamison Passuite, with Joey Verdonselli and Bennie Hayes anchoring a killer rhythm section and handling backing vocals, the Lockport, NY trio taps into the DNA of that old-time rock n' roll and gets the party started. Roots rock hasn't sounded this good in a long time!

Left Lane Cruiser: Bayport BBQ Blues [CD]

EL PERRO is a brand new band led by guitarist/vocalist/songwriter/producer Parker Griggs of RADIO MOSCOW. The sound contains elements that fans of Radio Moscow will recognize, but this is rock music with a new, fresh spin and feel. The band's debut album, "Hair Of El Perro", takes heavy psychedelic rock as a starting point but jams into more syncopated territory, spicing its sound with Latin rhythms and hints of Funkadelic-style grooves. You could say that EL PERRO plays psychedelic funk rock, and you wouldn't be wrong.
