I den idylliska staden Brixton, i hjärtat av Georgia, försörjer sig den unga änkan Annie Wilson som traktens spåkvinna. Hon får snart fasansfulla syner där hon ser den döda flickans kropp. Men ju mer Annie dras in i mordutredningen, desto hotfullare och mer skräckinjagande blir hennes syner. Och det visar sig vara fler i den lilla staden som bär på mörka hemligheter...

I'm not a fag or anything. I've always said: if I had to fuck a guy, I mean had to, if my life depended on it, I'd fuck Elvis! Bara en Tarantinofilm kan inledas med en sån här replik. Och som alla vet så är ju det här den lugna biten av denna fantastiska film. Detta är en underhållande och mycket våldsam film som nog ingen har missat helt.
