Messor Grand

The debut album from Grand Harvest takes the listener on a journey through dark and gloomy sonic landscapes with the esoteric luciferian/necrosophic lyrics of vocalist and lyricist Dr. Häll as the lone companion. Bone crushing heaviness, ethereal melodies and the certainty of death permeates this release. The 2022 "Consummatum Est" CD comes in an 8 panel digipak, complete with a 24-page booklet that includes lyrics and extended art.

GRAND HARVEST are back! This time with a vinyl (and digital) EP release containing two compositions with lyrics in Swedish. The first is a musical interpretation of Swedish romantic poet E. J. Stagnelius' melancholy masterpiece "Till Förruttnelsen" (To Putrefaction), and the second is a Swedish rendition of the title track from our full-length album Consummatum Est. The release furthers the band's development into blackened soundscapes and epic, heavy melancholy with a strong attention to the lyrics. This EP is a heartfelt project which musically point out the direction of the band's coming full-length album.

Grand Harvest blends sinister sonical landscapes with soaring and mournful melodies. Their death metal stands with one foot firmly in the grave dirt of black metal, mixing heavy riffing with melodies inspired by the great northern wilderness and strongly thematic lyrics. On this, their sophomore album, the music has developed and solidified into something even darker and more direct than on the debut album Consummatum Est. This time the lyrics delve into the Angel of Death, Death's holiness and the concept of Death as the final and most beautiful homestead. Perfectly arranged with the music, the lyrical content, and vocal range of singer Dr. Häll, lifts the album into a philosophical and poetic sphere. Home is mixed and mastered by Tore Stjerna, who has given the album a dark, intense sound, very fitting for the somewhat faster tempo adopted by the band compared to their debut.
