The legendary Slovenian group's first original studio album since 2014's Spectre, MUSICK - intensely pop, yet intensely Laibach. This record simultaneously celebrates and critiques the current era of warped reality and AI imitation. The title reflects a duality: an oversaturation, being "sick of music" in an age where over 100,000 new tracks, many AI-generated, are uploaded daily, making us question reality; and a "pathological devotion" that continues to drive the band. The maximalist creation process in their Ljubljana studio involved analogue synths, toys, computers with sound apps, and collaborators like Donna Marina Mårtensson and Richard X. They drew influences from K-pop, J-pop, and 90s Eurodance, yet maintained that their primary influence and reference point remained Laibach itself. The acclaimed Can live series continues with the release of Live in Aston 1977, available via Mute and Future Days (the new EU label created by Spoon Records). The series was overseen by founding member Irmin Schmidt and producer/engineer René Tinner, who delicately worked on restoring the archival recordings to the best quality for current modern technology.This record captures the band's 1977 performance in Aston and features Schmidt (keyboard and synths), Jaki Liebezeit (drums), Michael Karoli (guitars), Holger Czukay (wave receiver and spec.sounds), plus Rosko Gee (bass), who appears for the first time in the series. This release features sleeve notes by former Sex Pistol, Glen Matlock, sharing his first-hand experience of witnessing Can's live show.

Their 16th studio album, The Violet Flame, an emotionally-charged electro-pop album with euphoric, synth-fuelled melodies that strike instantly into the heart. The theme of transformation and new beginnings is captured in the album?s title, a literal spiritual term meaning the transformation of negative energy into positive energy, freedom and forgiveness. Erasure enlisted the production expertise of Richard X after their successful collaboration on Snow Globe, and the tracks were recorded between his London studio The Toyshop and by Clarke in his Brooklyn studio.
