Jogkauns is the stunning new album from sitar virtuoso Jasdeep Singh Degun, released on Real World Records. Following his multi-award-winning debut Anomaly, this is Degun's first full-length recording devoted entirely to Indian classical music. Recorded live at Real World Studios with tabla accompanist Harkiret Bahra, Jogkauns captures Jasdeep at a pivotal moment in his career, distilling years of study, performance and improvisation. Trained in the Imdad-Khani gharana yet equally at home in orchestral and cross-genre collaborations, Jasdeep moves fluidly between tradition and innovation. On Jogkauns he returns to the very foundations of his artistry, bringing rare intensity, lyricism and imagination to the long-form tradition of raags. With Real World's pristine recording capturing every resonance of the sitar, this album offers a mesmerising listening experience that shines a new light on one of the world's great classical traditions.

Lamisi: Let Us Clap [Vinyl LP]

Love and Devotion brings together two of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's finest recordings - Love Songs and Devotional Songs, first released in 1988 - perfect companion pieces that capture a true musical giant at the height of his powers, supported by the faultless artistry of his accompanying party. This limited edition double LP marks the first time these recordings have been available on vinyl in almost 40 years, with packaging that draws on both the original WOMAD Records release and the striking visual concept by painter Russell Mills featured in later editions. A defining figure in qawwali and global music, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's voice and vision reshaped how Sufi devotional music was heard around the world.

30th Anniversary Edition. With Printed Inner and Updated Liner Notes and Photographs. For the first time on vinyl, this is a reissue of Night Song, the legendary Grammy-nominated album from 1996. The late Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan is today acknowledged as the greatest master of the mystical music of Qawwali. On Night Song, he works in collaboration with Canadian producer/guitarist/soundtrack composer Michael Brook (U2, Brian Eno). On this accessible and inspirational album, Brook brings ear-fluttering sub-bass, fraying guitar tones, rich Hammond Organ, and harmonium to Nusrat's extraordinary, ecstatic vocals. This is truly one of the classic statements crossing musical boundaries.
