During his early musical start in Canada as a teenager, through a move to California in the mid-Sixties to today, six solid decades later, there has only been an unending drive to write songs that are written directly from the soul and performed with pure passion. He is someone who looks within and reflects all he sees and feels. With his band The Chrome Hearts, he continues this expressive excursion recorded in Europe, U.K., U.S. and Canada during The Love Earth Tour 2025.<br/><br/>The music on their new live album - as time explodes, one which captures all of the abilities they've found playing together and responding to the songs and each other. <br/><br/>as time explodes explores the history of Young's songs from his entire catalog. It's a journey through time in the modern age. And by freeing themselves from the past, they can perform some of the most exciting songs of a storied history, always showing how the present sounds, redefining the past and presenting it in the here and now.<br/><br/>The songs featured on as time explodes are timeless and powerful, never more so than in a live, concert setting. The album was produced by Lou Adler with The Volume Dealers (Neil Young and Niko Bolas)

The fourth installment in Neil Young's Official Release Series (ORS): a box set that includes his classic '80s records Hawks & Doves, Reoacotor, and This Note's for You, as well as his Eldorado EP, previously released only in Japan and Australia. <br/><br/>The ORS Vol 4 collects an eclectic set of decade-spanning sounds. Hawks & Doves (1980) revisits his folk roots and explores some of his most country-leaning offerings; the blistering Reoacotor (1981) showcases a stomping set of heavy, overdriven rock with Crazy Horse; and This Note's for You (1988) casts Young as a big band leader, belting out intricately arranged blues. The Eldorado EP (1989) is full of feral distortion and earthy crunch featuring Young backed by The Restless (Chad Cromwell and Rick Rosas). It includes two thundering tracks - "Cocaine Eyes" and "Heavy Love"- not available on any other album.

UNPLUGGED originally released in 1993, was first recorded for an MTV Unplugged concert, along with additional live recordings. Young thoughtfully assembled a group of musicians he had recorded with over the years for this special aggregation that quickly became a collector's item as tapes were first shared from the show among his fans. The official live album is considered an acoustic one-of-a-kind release from Young's 90's canon.

This Neil Young with Crazy Horse album was originally released in 1994. The album includes some fan favorite tracks such as "Western Hero," "My Heart," "Prime of Life," and the epic 14-minute "Change Your Mind".. This album was the last album to be produced by Youngs'slong-time collaborator.
