In 'Get Out' (2017), with their relationship becoming serious, Rose (Allison Williams) invites her African-American boyfriend Chris (Daniel Kaluuya) to meet her parents Missy and Dean (Catherine Keener and Bradley Whitford) as part of a weekend getaway at her family home. Initially, Chris thinks that the family's overly friendly behaviour is due to their nervousness about their daughter's interracial relationship, but when he then finds out that a number of black people have recently gone missing in the neighbourhood, he begins to realise there is something much more sinister going on. In 'The Purge' (2013), with crime in America spiralling out of control and prison populations soaring, the government of the day implements a drastic new initiative to address the problem. For a 12-hour period once a year, all crime, including murder, is legal, as the police and other emergency services stand down for the night, allowing the population to regulate itself. The Purge is deemed a success due to plummeting crime levels and record low unemployment figures. But after placing their upmarket home under its yearly lockdown, James and Mary Sandin (Hawke and Lena Headey) and their family find themselves under siege from a crazed group of masked killers when their teenage son (Max Burkholder) offers shelter to the mob's terrified prey. In 'Ouija' (2014), when their friend is killed in a freak accident at her home after using a Ouija board, a close-knit group decide to test out the board themselves to find out the real cause of her death. What they don't realise at the time is that their friend has opened a portal to the spirit world and has let a demonic presence enter her home, and one by one the group are made to face their darkest fears as the powers of the board overwhelm them. In 'Split' (2016), Kevin (James McAvoy) is a man who suffers from dissociative identity disorder, meaning that he exhibits numerous distinct personalities which affect his behaviour. Kevin becomes driven to kidnap three young girls - Casey (Anya Taylor-Joy), Claire (Haley Lu Richardson) and Hannah (Kim Director) - on their way to a party. While trapped, the girls witness Kevin's personality shift repeatedly and try desperately to figure out a way to escape. Kevin has therapy sessions with Dr. Fletcher (Betty Buckley), who slowly realises that Kevin is on the verge of a devastating mental breakdown. As she tries to convince her colleagues that someone with as serious a condition as Kevin can forcibly alter their physiology with their mind, Kevin develops a final, monstrous personality. In 'The Visit' (2015), while their mother (Kathryn Hahn) is on vacation, a young boy and girl (Ed Oxenbould and Olivia De Jonge) are sent to stay with their grandparents (Deanna Dunagan and Peter McRobbie). After being warned not to leave their bedroom after 9.30pm and suspecting that something is amiss in the house, the kids start to investigate. But what they find is more frightening than they could ever imagine. In 'Unfriended' (2015), one year after their classmate Laura (Heather Sossaman) committed suicide after an embarrassing video of her was circulated around the school, six friends log on to Skype to take part in a group chat. But when someone starts using Laura's old account and appears to know the full details about the video and the identities of those responsible for its distribution, the six friends begin to fear for their lives as whoever it is starts to torment them inside their homes. In 'Truth Or Dare' (2018), a game of truth or dare becomes deadly when an evil presence begins killing the players if they refuse to play. Desperately trying to beat the game and stay alive, Olivia (Lucy Hale) and her friends travel to Mexico as they attempt to find out how the game started and look for a way to break the curse. 'The Boy Next Door' (2015) follows recent divorcee Claire Peterson (Jennifer Lopez) whose attraction to her much-younger neighbour Noah Sandborn (Ryan Guzman) gets her into a lot of trouble when she finds out that the young man has become obsessed with her. Not content with the one-night stand they shared together while she was in a vulnerable state of mind, Noah begins to blackmail Claire and manages to manoeuvre his way into her home and work life with terrible consequences. 'Happy Death Day' (2017) follows Tree Gelbman (Jessica Rothe), a young college student who is murdered by a masked attacker on the night of her birthday only to wake up and relive the same day over and over again. Realising that the only way to break the cycle is to find out the identity of her killer, Tree desperately tries to figure out the mystery of who is after her before they can strike again. Finally, in 'Ma' (2019), when a group of teens stop Ma outside of a convenience store to ask her to buy them alcohol, she is at first reluctant before agreeing to help them out. She then invites the group back to her home where she offers them the exclusive use of her basement to have parties and invite their friends over. The gang can't believe their luck, but when Ma's behaviour becomes intense and controlling, they begin to wonder whether their host has hidden agendas. Is Ma simply an unfulfilled and lonely woman or is she capable of dark and dangerous things?

Typ: DVD / Box Set

In 'Despicable Me' (2010), trying to outdo his main rival Vector (voice of Jason Segel), serial villain Gru (Steve Carell) hatches a plan to steal the moon, aided by his army of genetically altered corn pops. About to set his dastardly plan in motion, and bristling with his arsenal of freeze-rays and sci-fi gadgetry, all goes according to plan until the arrival at his door of three little orphan girls, Margo (Miranda Cosgrove), Agnes (Elsie Fisher) and Edith (Dana Gaier), in search of a father figure. In 'Despicable Me 2' (2013), now living a life of domestic bliss in suburbia with adopted daughters Margo, Agnes and Edith, Gru's world is turned upside down when he finds himself abducted by agent Lucy Wilde (Kristen Wiig) of the Anti-Villain League on the orders of boss Silas Ramsbottom (Steve Coogan). All is not what it seems, however, for with the world threatened by the new and dastardly supervillain known as Eduardo (Benjamin Bratt), it falls to the unique talents of Gru and his Minions to step up to the plate and finally save the day. In 'Despicable Me 3' (2017), now working with his secret agent wife Lucy Wilde (Wiig) at the Anti-Villain League, former supervillain Gru is tasked with taking down a new enemy in the form of former child star Balthazar Bratt (Trey Parker). Having grown up to become obsessed by the eccentric character he played in the 1980s, Bratt has hatched a scheme for world domination and will seemingly do anything to achieve his goal. With the fate of the world hanging in the balance, it once again falls to the unique talents of Gru and his Minions to step up to the plate and save the day. 'Minions' (2015) shows how throughout history, and before Gru, the Minions have served many a despicable master, including Genghis Khan, Napoleon and Dracula. But having contributed to their masters' downfalls through a series of mishaps, the Minions find themselves living in Antarctica with no one to serve. A number of years pass and it isn't until 1968 that dispirited Minions Kevin, Stuart and Bob (all voiced by Pierre Coffin) set off to New York City to attend a villain convention and find themselves a new master. Here they meet the ambitious and dastardly Scarlet Overkill (Sandra Bullock), who, with the help of her husband Herb (Jon Hamm), plans to take over the world. 'The Secret Life of Pets' (2016) follows the adventures had by a group of New York pets after their owners leave the house. Pampered terrier Max (Louis C.K.) is shocked when his owner brings home a huge, sloppy mongrel named Duke (Eric Stonestreet) from the dog pound. An intense rivalry quickly sparks between the two pets, with a jealous Max desperate to regain the attention he once had. However, the duo must put their differences to one side when cunning rabbit Snowball (Kevin Hart) begins to build an army of neglected ex-pets intent on getting revenge on all happily-owned pets and their owners. With the help of the other animals in his Manhattan building, Max must put a stop to Snowball's evil schemes before it's too late. In 'The Secret Life of Pets 2' Max (Patton Oswalt) begins to feel anxious when he experiences new changes at home and so sets out to become a braver dog, while Snowball (Kevin Hart) harnesses his superhero abilities to help with a rescue mission. In 'Sing?' (2016), Buster Moon (Matthew McConaughey) is the highly optimistic koala proprietor of a venerable theatre. But as the splendour of his theatre begins to fade and Buster's life ambition with it, he must quickly devise a way to save his playhouse. Despite the reservations of his sheep friend Eddie (John C. Reilly), Buster decides to hold a singing contest in the hopes of raising enough money and attention to save his ailing theatre. With most of the town signing up to take part, the most promising contestants are Rosita (Reese Witherspoon), an overworked pig housewife, Mike (Seth MacFarlane), an arrogant, larger-than-life mouse, Ashley (Scarlett Johansson), a punk-rock porcupine, Meena (Tori Kelly), a stage-frightened elephant, and Johnny (Taron Egerton), a British gorilla pressured by his father's criminal exploits. How will they fare? And will Buster be able to save his theatre? In 'Hop' (2011), when unemployed slacker Fred (James Marsden) accidentally runs over the Easter Bunny (Russell Brand) in his car, he reluctantly agrees to take him home while he recovers from his injuries. A battle of egos ensues as both host and house guest are forced to face up to the unpalatable idea of finally getting around to growing up. In 'The Lorax' (2012), 12-year-old Ted (Zac Efron) has spent his childhood in Thneed-Ville, an entirely artificial city. When Audrey (Taylor Swift), the girl of his dreams, expresses her desire to see a real tree, Ted sets out to find it. Along the way he meets the reclusive Once-ler (Ed Helms), who tells the story of the Lorax (Danny DeVito), a grumpy yet charming creature, who fights to protect his world after a revolutionary industrial invention leads to the total destruction of the beautiful forests surrounding Ted's town. Finally, in 'The Grinch' (2018), the Grinch (Benedict Cumberbatch) is outraged when the residents of nearby Whoville decide to make their lavish Christmas celebrations last three times longer this year. Fearing his tranquil existence will be disrupted, the Grinch decides to steal Christmas by posing as Santa Claus on Christmas Eve. However, despite his best efforts, a cheerful young girl may get in the way of the Grinch's sinister schemes.

Typ: DVD / Box Set
