Upon returning to the Forbidden Valley, Tuck and T.J. discover dinosaurs living there including Gwangi, an Allosaurus who Tuck and his group seek to capture and display in T.J.'s show. Enlisting the help of a couple of local fugitives, Brigade intends to continue his onward journey but the Indians show no sign of surrender. However, their paths continue to cross and they each lend assistance to the other until Bill learns that Ryan is harbouring a terrible secret. As the post comes under increasing threat from the Apache Indians Yorke's ex-wife, Kathleen (Maureen O'Hara), arrives to return her underage son back home, however, Jefferson is adamant about staying put.
