When seismology student Rhonda LeBeck (Finn Carter) discovers that the tremors are being caused by giant underground monsters, the trio soon find themselves caught in a fierce battle for survival. In 'Tremors 2: Aftershocks' (1995), when workers at a Mexican oil refinery find an infestation of Graboids, they turn to Earl Bassett for help. He recruits his old friend Burt Gummer (Michael Gross) and they begin to hunt the creatures together, aided by Grady Hoover (Christopher Gartin) and scientist Kate Reilly (Helen Shaver). Unfortunately for them however, the creatures have evolved and are now able to replicate exceptionally quickly, making stopping them an almost impossible task. In 1889, workers in the remote mining town of Rejection, Nevada fall victim to an unseen predator. The mine's owner Hiram Gummer (Gross) hires gunfighter Black Hand Kelly (Billy Drago) to destroy the Graboids but with the entire town at risk, will Hiram flee or stand and fight? In 'Tremors 5: Bloodlines' (2015) survivalist star Burt and his cameraman Travis Welker (Jamie Kennedy) are called upon to help the South African Wildlife Ministry deal with a new species of Graboid. However, when they discover what they're really up against, the hunters become the hunted. In 'Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell' (2017) Burt and Travis travel to Canada to investigate reports of Graboid attacks. They fear that Graboids are being used by the American military to develop bio-weapons but face a race against time to save Burt when they learn that he has been infected by Graboid venom. Finally, in 'Tremors: Shrieker Island' (2020), big game hunter Bill (Richard Brake) has been genetically engineering Graboids, making them more powerful and intelligent and thus more challenging to hunt.
