As they investigate however, the pair begin to realise that despite their expertise, they may not be equipped to deal with such a violent and foreboding evil... In 'Annabelle' (2014) John (Ward Horton) thinks he has found the perfect gift for his wife Mia (Annabelle Wallis) and their unborn child: a vintage porcelain doll. However, after they are attacked in their home by members of a satanic cult, the doll is possessed and the family is plagued by a series of inexplicable events. Unable to rid themselves of the doll, John and Mia discover that the cult members summoned a demon which is now intent on claiming a human soul. With Mia its intended target, can they find a way to stop the demon before it's too late? In 'The Conjuring 2' (2016), following a series of unsettling events at a home in Enfield, London, Ed and Lorraine come to the aid of single mother Peggy Hodgson (Frances O'Connor) who claims her two daughters are being tormented by an evil spirit. Soon after their arrival the Warrens begin experiencing terrifying phenomena themselves, with the demonic entity seemingly intent on forcing them out. Plagued by hideous visions, physical attacks and even possession, the couple become embroiled in a deadly fight to survive as they attempt to conclude their investigation. In 'Annabelle: Creation' (2017), after the death of their young daughter, dollmaker Samuel Mullins (Anthony LaPaglia) and his wife Esther (Miranda Otto) invite a group of six girls and nun Sister Charlotte (Stephanie Sigman) to stay in their farmhouse after their orphanage is closed down. However, it soon transpires that the couple did this to atone for inadvertently inviting a demon into their home after mistaking it for the spirit of their daughter Annabelle. Now occupying one of Samuel's dolls, the spirit proceeds to terrorise the girls as it tries to claim their souls. 'The Nun' (2018) is set in 1952 when the Vatican sends Father Burke (Demián Bichir) and Sister Irene (Taissa Farmiga) to investigate the mysterious death of a nun at the Cârta Monastery in Romania. As they work to uncover the monastery's secrets, they realise that a powerful demonic entity is at work. Can they defeat it and escape with their souls intact or will they fall victim to its evil? In 'Annabelle Comes Home' (2019), Ed and Lorraine think they have finally contained the cursed Annabelle doll when they bring it home, have it blessed by a priest and lock it inside a case made of sacred glass. However, when the couple depart for the night, leaving their ten-year-old daughter Judy (Mckenna Grace) with babysitter Mary Ellen (Madison Iseman) and her friend Daniela (Katie Sarife), Annabelle's spirit is released. As she unleashes other spirits that have been trapped by the Warrens, chaos ensues as the three girls are tormented by the spirits and must fight to contain them once more. 'The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It' (2021) is set in 1980s Connecticut where the Warrens come to the aid of Arne Cheyenne Johnson (Ruairi O'Connor), a young man who claims to have been possessed by a demonic spirit and is accused of murdering his landlord. Believing the Johnson family was cursed by a witch, the Warrens are tested to their limits as they set out to prove their theory while attempting to convince the court of Arne's innocence. In 'The Nun 2' (2023), four years after her experiences at the Cârta Monastery in Romania, Sister Irene is now living a quiet life in Italy but she continues to experience troubling visions. When a disturbing death occurs in Tarascon, France, Irene is sent to investigate. She soon realises that the demon Valak (Bonnie Aarons) is once again responsible, leaving her with no choice but to face it once more and fight to prevent anyone else from falling victim to its evil. Finally, in 'The Conjuring: Last Rites' (2025), the Warrens have retired from active investigations due to Ed's worsening heart condition. However, they are soon called upon to battle a powerful demonic presence they have encountered before which has now returned to torment the Smurl family. In 'School for Scoundrels' (1960), Henry Palfrey (Ian Carmichael) is one of life's losers. Despised and disregarded at work, his prospective girlfriend April (Janette Scott) is whisked from under his nose by charming bounder Raymond Delauney (Terry-Thomas). In desperation, Henry enrols at Stephen Potter's (Alastair Sim) College of Lifemanship, where he gradually learns how to get one up on the other fellow. In 'Private's Progress' (1956), upper-class twit Windrush (Ian Carmichael) causes military mayhem when he joins up in the army. An inept soldier, he unwittingly becomes involved in his high-ranking uncle's (Dennis Price) scam to appropriate some rather valuable spoils of war - a haul of German jewels. 'Make Mine Mink' (1960) is based on the stage play by Peter Coke. When Dame Beatrice Appleby (Athene Seyler) receives a fur coat from her ex-jailbird maid Lily (Billie Whitelaw) she can't help but suspect that it was stolen. In order to set things right she gathers together a team of local misfits, headed by the eccentric Major Rayne (Terry-Thomas), and draws up plans for a reverse-heist which will secretly put the mink back into the hands of its rightful owners. However, when the gang set out on their mission, they soon begin thinking that their talents could be put to other uses. In 'Too Many Crooks' (1958), Fingers (George Cole) and his gang of crooks seem to be having a run of bad luck, as they keep botching one job after another. When they try to rob the wealthy philanderer Billy Gordon (Terry-Thomas) they manage to get things wrong once again and end up kidnapping his wife Lucy (Brenda Da Banzie) instead. Unfortunately, Billy is overjoyed to have his wife gone and makes no effort to pay the ransom, which makes Lucy mad and absolutely determined to have her revenge. In 'The Naked Truth' (1958), Nigel Dennis (Dennis Price) is an unscrupulous tabloid publisher who is making himself rich by approaching celebrated personages with scandalous stories and offering not to print them for a certain fee. But some of his targets have had enough of this and are drawing up plans to do away with the rotten fellow. Terry-Thomas plays the aristocratic Lord Mayley, while Shirley Eaton plays model Melissa Right, and Peter Sellers is TV star Sonny McGregor. The Boulting Brothers comedy 'Brothers in Law' (1957) stars a host of British stars. Roger Thursby (Ian Carmichael) is an overly keen, newly-qualified barrister who rubs his fellow barristers up the wrong way. When he is thrown in at the deep-end, with a particularly hot-tempered judge (Miles Malleson) and tricky case, Thursby learns how to prove himself not only to the judge and fellow barristers but also to the public gallery.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD / Box Set</i>

When Lord Farquaad (John Lithgow) exiles all magical creatures from his land, they come to Shrek's swamp and disturb his peace. Shrek makes a deal with Farquaad and promises to save Princess Fiona (Cameron Diaz) who is trapped in a castle guarded by a dragon. Marriage to Fiona will make Farquaad a king and in return, he will evict everyone now living in Shrek's swamp. Accompanied by Donkey (Eddie Murphy), Shrek sets out to free Fiona but soon finds himself falling in love with her. In 'Shrek 2' (2004) Shrek and Fiona return from their honeymoon to find an invitation from Fiona's parents King Harold (John Cleese) and Queen Lilian (Julie Andrews) to visit the kingdom of Far Far Away. However, the King and Queen are less than pleased to see their daughter married to an ogre. When reminded by the Fairy Godmother (Jennifer Saunders) of an ancient deal to match Fiona with her son Prince Charming (Rupert Everett), Shrek's new father-in-law hires the notorious swashbuckling mercenary Puss in Boots (Antonio Banderas) to kill Shrek. In 'Shrek the Third' (2007) King Harold falls ill and Shrek, Donkey and Puss in Boots set out on a quest to find his heir, Artie Pendragon (Justin Timberlake). However, Prince Charming is determined to take the throne himself and joins forces with a gang of fairytale villains to achieve his goal. In 'Shrek Forever After' (2010) Shrek is now a father and finds himself missing his previous quiet and solitary life. Rumpelstiltskin (Walt Dohrn) takes advantage of Shrek's mood to make a deal and after finding himself in a world where ogres are hunted, Rumpelstiltskin is king, none of his friends know him and he never met Fiona, Shrek must undertake a desperate mission to save his friends, restore his world and reclaim his one true love. 'Puss in Boots' (2011) details the adventures of Puss in Boots before he met Shrek and Donkey. A notorious outlaw in his hometown of San Ricardo, Puss will be put behind bars indefinitely unless he can find the magic beans which are fiercely guarded by husband-and-wife bandits Jack and Jill (Billy Bob Thornton and Amy Sedaris). Unbeknownst to Puss, however, he has another rival in the form of criminal mastermind Humpty Alexander Dumpty (Zach Galifianakis) and his tough-talking sidekick, Kitty Softpaws (Salma Hayek). Finally, the Broadway adaptation 'Shrek the Musical' (2013) finds Shrek (Brian d'Arcy James), Princess Fiona (Sutton Foster) and their talkative sidekick Donkey (Daniel Breaker) pitted against the dastardly Lord Farquaad (Christopher Sieber).
