In 'Shaun of the Dead' (2004), Shaun (Pegg) works in an electronics shop in London's Crouch End. He doesn't get much respect from his fellow staff, even though he's standing in as the temporary boss. Meanwhile, he doesn't get on with his stepdad Philip (Bill Nighy) and his girlfriend Liz (Kate Ashfield) has had enough of his lack of direction and penchant for downing pints in the local pub. Things only get worse with the advent of the zombie apocalypse but Shaun joins forces with his best friend Ed (Nick Frost) to fight back, determined to save Liz and his mother Barbara (Penelope Wilton) from a grisly fate. In 'Hot Fuzz' (2007), Sergeant Nicholas Angel (Pegg)'s arrest record puts the whole of the Metropolitan force to shame and so his superiors reassign him to rural Gloucestershire, hoping they have heard the last of him. However, the sleepy town he's posted to turns out to be a hotbed of grisly murder and vigilantism. Angel's diligence and character sits ill with the locals, except for police officer Danny Butterman (Frost), who's a huge fan of buddy cop movies. The pair bond and join forces to uncover the truth about who is responsible for the crimes. Finally, in 'The World's End' (2013), galvanised by Gary (Pegg), 40-somethings Oliver (Martin Freeman), Andy (Frost), Steven (Paddy Considine) and Peter (Eddie Marsan) return to their home town for one last attempt at completing the Golden Mile pub crawl and reaching the final pub, The World's End. However, after setting out on their quest, the friends' objective soon pales into insignificance when they realise that the fate of the entire human race may rest in their hands.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD / Box Set</i>

In 'The Holy Grail' (1975), King Arthur and his trusty knights fearlessly (for the most part) travel the length and breadth of the country in search of the mythical Holy Grail. On their way they have to deal with the sarcastic taunts of the French Knight, the Knights who say 'Ni', Tim the Enchanter and the Terror of the Cave of Caerbannog. 'Life of Brian' (1979), set during Biblical times, tells the story of Brian (Graham Chapman), an accidental messiah whose life runs in eerie parallel to that of Jesus Christ. His misadventures come to the attention of Pilate, crucifixion inevitably follows, and the film ends with the infamous group rendition of the song 'Always Look On the Bright Side of Life'.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

'Scary Movie 2' (2001) follows what happens when the students from the first film are hired to investigate a series of strange occurrences in an old mansion named Hell House. Cindy (Anna Faris), Ray (Shawn Wayans), Shorty (Marlon Wayans), and Brenda (Regina Hall) all turn up at the appointed hour, ready to take on all the ghosts and spooks the house has to offer. But when their professor is killed, the students find themselves trapped in the house with phantoms far more bizarre than any they had imagined. Finally, in 'Scary Movie 3' (2003), now out of college, Cindy has become a TV news reporter out to find a hard-hitting news story. In order to escape the months of untouched washing-up, they decamp to the countryside, hoping to enjoy a stay at a cottage owned by Withnail's uncle Monty (Richard Griffiths). However, things do not go entirely to plan, as Withnail is particularly unsuited to country living. Their friendship is tested even further when Monty joins them and makes unwanted sexual advances toward I. In 'Basil the Rat', waiter Manuel (Andrew Sachs)'s Siberian hamster turns out to be a rat, which goes missing just in time for a visit from the hotel inspector. 'Communication Problems' sees Basil (Cleese) forced to deal with a deaf guest while attempting to conceal his gambling win from Sybil (Prunella Scales). In 'The Anniversary', a secret party planned for Sybil goes awry when the guest of honour storms out of the hotel. 'The Germans' sees Basil failing to cope with a fire drill and the arrival of some German guests while Sybil is in hospital - 'Don't mention the war - I did once, but I think I got away with it!'. In 'The Hotel Inspectors', Basil goes into fawning overdrive when he learns that a group of hotel inspectors are operating in the area. In 'A Touch of Class', Basil's quest for a better class of clientele seems to have succeeded with the arrival at the hotel of Lord Melbury (Michael Gwynn). Or has it? 'The Kipper and the Corpse' finds Basil and Manuel trying to dispose of a dead body without any of the guests noticing. Needless to say, they are less than successful. In 'Waldorf Salad', some newly-arrived American guests' request for transatlantic cuisine does not go down well with Basil in the kitchen. 'Gourmet Night' sees the Fawltys' attempt to throw a cultural evening fail when their chef hits the bottle. In 'The Psychiatrist', Basil begins behaving even more oddly than usual when he learns that a psychiatrist is staying at the hotel. 'The Builders' sees Basil in hot water with Sybil when he employs the unreliable Irish labourer Mr O'Reilly (David Kelly) to do some work in the hotel lobby. Finally, in 'The Wedding Party', Basil gets the wrong impression when some old friends of Polly (Booth)'s arrive at the hotel.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>
