In 'Daffy Duck's Movie - Fantastic Island' (1983), while stranded on a desert island, Daffy (Blanc) and Speedy Gonzales (Blanc) find a treasure map that leads them to a magical wishing well with the power to grant wishes. Hoping to make themselves rich, Daffy and Speedy create a luxury resort and where they hope to make their guests' dreams come true. However, it's not long before an infamous pirate arrives on the island in pursuit of his lost treasure map. In 'Tweety's High Flying Adventure' (2000) Tweety Pie (Joe Alaskey) sets off to travel the globe in 80 days, collecting cat paw prints along the way as proof. However, Sylvester (Alaskey) is soon on Tweety's tail, doing his best to thwart the yellow canary's efforts. But things have started to go wrong; he begins to lose his resemblance to Santa and his son Charlie (Eric Lloyd) has ended up on the 'naughty' list. It transpires that Calvin's contract stipulates he has to have a Mrs Santa and so he sets off to find one, leaving a duplicate Santa the Elves made to cover for him. However, things are not that easy as Calvin finds women are not flocking to date a large, white-bearded man from the North Pole, and the duplicate Santa has begun to play up and may not give up the role. In 'Santa Clause 3 - The Escape Clause' (2006) it's Santa vs. Jack Frost as the two go head to head over who runs Christmas. In this third instalment of the series, Scott Calvin (Allen) aka Santa Clause is up against it. With his wife Carol/Mrs Clause (Elizabeth Mitchell) pregnant, and her parents due for a visit, a lightning makeover of Santa's village is needed to protect his identity. With too much to do and time running out, Santa's happy to let Jack Frost (Martin Short) step up and save the day. Unfortunately for Santa, Frost has been waiting to seize his moment, and soon he's in control of Christmas. Set in Middle-Earth 60 years before events in 'The Lord of the Rings', 'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey' (2012) follows the adventures of Hobbit Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman), who, at the instigation of the wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellen), suddenly finds himself co-opted into joining a company of 13 Dwarves led by Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) to help reclaim the Dwarves' lost kingdom of the Lonely Mountain from the clutches of a dragon. After setting out on their quest from the safety of Bag End, the band of travellers soon find themselves pitted against a range of strange and fearsome opponents, in addition to a small, slimy creature known simply as Gollum (Andy Serkis). In 'The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug' (2013), while Gandalf heads south on his own, Bilbo, Thorin and the Dwarves enter the treacherous Mirkwood Forest on their way to the mountain. When they reach Lake-town Bilbo has to perform the role he was assigned at the start of the quest - to find a secret door that will lead him to the lair of Smaug the dragon (voice of Benedict Cumberbatch). In the final instalment, 'The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies' (2014), Bilbo, Thorin and the other Dwarves have unintentionally released Smaug from the Lonely Mountain and endangered the residents of Lake-town. Bilbo has to make a difficult decision when Thorin puts his desire to find the royal jewel Arkenstone before his loyalty to his friends. Meanwhile, Gandalf discovers that the evil Sauron has returned, commanding a horde of Orcs to attack the Lonely Mountain. Bilbo and his friends must fight for their survival as five armies meet in battle. In 'Coogan's Bluff' (1968) deputy sheriff Walt Coogan (Eastwood) is sent from Arizona to New York City to escort escaped prisoner James Ringerman (Don Stroud) home. When Coogan cuts corners to expedite the process, Ringerman is able to escape and Coogan's attempts to recapture him lead him to clash with NYPD Detective McElroy (Lee J. Cobb). In 'Two Mules for Sister Sara' (1969) Hogan (Eastwood) saves Sara (Shirley MacLaine) from marauding bandits and when she asks for his continued help and protection, he reluctantly agrees. As they travel together, he discovers that she is far from the nun he believed her to be and together they team up to aid a group of Mexican revolutionaries in their fight against French occupying forces. 'The Beguiled' (1970) is set during the American Civil War. When wounded Union soldier John McBurney (Eastwood) is taken in by the all-female staff of a Louisiana girls' school, they are going to turn him over to the Confederate army but decide to heal him first. However, McBurney cunningly plays the women off against each other, working on their sexual frustrations and biding his time until he is well enough to attempt an escape. In 'Play Misty for Me' (1971) Dave Garland (Eastwood) is a Californian DJ who runs a late night call-in show and receives regular requests from a female caller for Erroll Garner's song 'Misty'. Unfortunately for Garland, the fan, Evelyn Draper (Jessica Walter), turns out to be a maniacal stalker. In the revisionist Western 'Joe Kidd' (1972) Eastwood stars as the eponymous former bounty hunter who is hired by wealthy landowner Frank Harlan (Robert Duvall) to track Mexican revolutionary Luis Chama (John Saxon). However, Harlan soon proves that he is not to be trusted. In 'High Plains Drifter' (1973) the arrival of a stranger (Eastwood) in the mining town of Lago causes resentment and fear among the locals. However, when they are threatened by a band of outlaws, they beg him to protect them, but he has plans of his own. 'Breezy' (1973) follows the complicated relationship between the young and free-spirited Breezy (Kay Lenz) and middle-aged divorcé Frank Harmon (William Holden). Breezy brings joy back into Frank's life but he is reluctant to become involved with her given their age difference. Finally, in 'The Eiger Sanction' (1975), college professor Jonathan Hemlock (Eastwood) is forced to return to his previous life as a government assassin for one last mission.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD / Box Set</i>
