Samantha's husband Arthur (Patrick Wilson) sets out with a team of three men to retrieve their captive townsfolk. The band includes Sheriff Franklin Hunt (Kurt Russell), womaniser John Brooder (Matthew Fox) and 'back up deputy sheriff' Chicory (Richard Jenkins). Upon returning to the Forbidden Valley, Tuck and T.J. discover dinosaurs living there including Gwangi, an Allosaurus who Tuck and his group seek to capture and display in T.J.'s show. Enlisting the help of a couple of local fugitives, Brigade intends to continue his onward journey but the Indians show no sign of surrender.
