In 'A Nightmare On Elm Street' (1984), American teenager Nancy Thompson (Heather Langenkamp) begins to suffer from nightmares, only to discover that many of her friends are having similarly disturbed nights' sleep. Their dreams are haunted by the hideously scarred former child murderer Freddy Krueger (Robert Englund) who, it soon transpires, has the power to kill them in their sleep. Freddy is out to exact his revenge on the children of those who burned him alive in retribution for his crimes, and the only way to avoid his reprisals is to avoid sleep - but Nancy knows that she can't stay awake for ever. In 'A Nightmare On Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge' (1985), the Walsh family have moved into the house formerly owned by the Thompsons and it is not long before teenage son Jesse (Mark Patton) is having bad dreams. He and girlfriend Lisa (Kim Myers) attempt to work out what is happening to him, but before long Jesse becomes convinced that Freddy has taken over his body in order to continue his murderous rampage. In 'A Nightmare On Elm Street: Dream Warriors' (1987), Nancy, now a psychiatric doctor, teams up with Dr Neil Goldman (Craig Wasson) when a group of teenagers at his hospital begin to suffer a shared nightmare and soon realises that Freddy has returned to continue wreaking his revenge on the descendants of those who killed him. In 'A Nightmare On Elm Street: The Dream Master' (1988), Freddy has killed off all the children who originally punished him for his crimes, but now he's back and killing their friends. Luckily, Alice Johnson (Lisa Wilcox), one of the endangered kids, has the special ability to bring others into her dreams. She is the Dream Master and therefore the only one who can stop Freddy from wreaking more of his murderous havoc. In 'A Nightmare On Elm Street: The Dream Child' (1989), Alice is expecting a baby. Unfortunately for her, the meddlesome Freddy finds out about this and begins to control the foetus's dreams, hoping that the birth will be his means of returning to the land of the living. The Dream Master sets to work, taking the battle to Krueger one final time. In 'Freddy's Dead - The Final Nightmare' (1991), having wiped out all the children in his hometown, dreamstalking psycho killer Freddy decides it is time to head for pastures new. Luckily for him, he happens across a home for troubled teens and is soon indulging his unspeakable appetites once again. Finally, in 'Wes Craven's New Nightmare' (1994), a coda to the series in which Craven and his producer play themselves, persuading the now grown-up Heather Langenkamp to return to Elm Street one more time. His first test subject is Caesar (Andy Serkis), the prototype of a new breed of ape with human-like intelligence. But when Caesar breaks free a revolution is triggered and an epic war for supremacy breaks out between humankind and the primates of the world. In 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes' (2014) Caesar, now the leader of a growing band of cognisant simians, starts the process towards a truce between the apes and the humans. Many consider the outbreak of war to only be a matter of time however, since the human population has been vastly reduced by a devastating virus and their role as the dominant species on Earth is in question. As the tension increases it may only take a single spark to trigger an explosive war that will pit the humans against the apes in an all-out battle for survival. Finally, in 'War for the Planet of the Apes' (2017), Caesar finds himself and his kind trapped in a war with the humans led by Colonel McCullogh (Woody Harrelson). In 'Transformers' (2007) a battle rages between two camps of an alien race from the planet Cybertron - the Autobots and the evil Decepticons. In an effort to prevent the Decepticons from gaining possession of the Allspark, a cube with the capacity to grant infinite power, the Autobots managed to smuggle the object to Earth, where they secretly hid it. Now, hundreds of years later, with the Decepticons searching for the cube, the Autobots enlist the help of young earthling Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) to help foil the Decepticons' plans for world domination. In 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen' (2009), after he glimpses the truth about the ancient origins of the Transformers through a powerful vision sent to him by the Allspark, Sam once again finds himself the target of the evil Decepticons, who have returned to Earth under the command of the formidable Starscream (voice of Charles Adler). Joining the Autobots' mission to protect humankind is Optimus Prime (Peter Cullen), who forms an alliance with international armies for this second epic battle. In 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon' (2011), when the Autobots discover that a Cybertronian spacecraft is hidden on the Moon, a race against the Decepticons ensues as both sides battle to reach it first. In 'Transformers: Age of Extinction' (2014), four years after the invasion of Chicago, mechanic and single parent Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg) discovers what he believes to be a dilapidated truck and takes it home to repair. However, what he really has resting in his garage is a deactivated Optimus Prime. When government officials learn of the discovery they try to push humanitarian boundaries in the name of scientific development. Finally, in 'Transformers: The Last Knight' (2017), with the battle between the human race and the Transformers raging on, mechanic Cade Yeager forms an alliance with English Lord Sir Edmund Burton (Anthony Hopkins) in an attempt to figure out why the Transformers keep returning to Earth. Meanwhile, Autobots leader Optimus Prime learns he was responsible for the death of his home world Cybertron. When an earthquake leaves his home destroyed, his aunt smuggles him onto a ship headed for the English capital. He winds up in London's Paddington Station, lost and alone, until he meets Mr Brown (Hugh Bonneville) and his family, who decide to look after him while he searches for his aunt's old acquaintance. However, the bear finds himself in danger when taxidermist Millicent (Nicole Kidman) attempts to get her hands on him for her museum collection. In 'Paddington 2' (2017), now settled in London and living with the Brown family in Windsor Gardens, Peruvian bear Paddington has begun building a reputation as an upstanding member of his new community. After spotting a unique pop-up book which he thinks will be a perfect present for his Aunt Lucy (voice of Imelda Staunton)'s 100th birthday, Paddington sets out to complete a number of odd jobs in an attempt to raise enough money to buy it. However, when the book is suddenly stolen, Paddington and the rest of the Brown family must work together in order to catch the thief and recover the book before Aunt Lucy's big day comes around. In 'Paddington in Peru' (2024), when Paddington receives a letter from the Home for Retired Bears in Peru, they inform him that his beloved aunt has been acting strangely. Worried, Paddington plans an expedition to his homeland. Accompanied by the Browns, Paddington meets the Reverend Mother (Olivia Colman) who heads up the retirement home and provides the family with a map of the jungle where they believe Aunt Lucy may have gone.
