In 'Wolfen' (1981), Albert Finney stars as Detective Dewey Wilson who is charged with tracking down a pack of murderous urban lycanthropes following a series of killings in the Bronx. Wilson enlists the help of criminal psychologist Rebecca Neff (Diane Verona) and coroner Whittington (Gregory Hines) and together they discover that an ancient Native American legend about a Satanic group of changelings known as the Wolfen, is in fact true. In 'The Hunger' (1983), Catherine Deneuve and David Bowie are a pair of modern-day vampires on a desperate hunt for fresh blood to survive. In 'Innocent Blood' (1992), vampire Marie (Anne Parillaud) has a taste only for the blood of bad guys, in particular Mafia boss Salvatore Macelli (Robert Loggia). However, when she gets her teeth into him, she fails to kill him and instead turns him into a vampire. Macelli plans to transform his fellow hoods into vampires, thinking it would be good for business. Meanwhile, Marie is left to rue her error and joins up with Detective Joseph Gennaro (Anthony LaPaglia) to stop the mobster. Finally, in 'Body Snatchers' (1993), teenage girl Marty Malone (Gabrielle Anwar) moves with her father, stepmother and stepbrother to a military base where her father has a new job investigating environmental hazards. As an alien plot to turn all humans into emotionless, unfeeling 'pod people' unfolds around them, the alien pods, which grow long tentacles, attack people as they sleep by sliding into their mouth and nostrils.<br/><br/><i>Typ: Blu-ray</i>

When she stumbles across a bewitched book in an Oxford library, however, Diana is dragged back into witchcraft and must uncover the origins of the book. In 'Species II' (1998) Dr. Laura Baker has created a pseudo-alien clone, Eve (Henstridge), to assist her research after another series of alien killings begins. Reuniting with Preston Lennox, Laura realises that astronaut Patrick Ross (Justin Lazard), recently returned from Mars, is the culprit. Having become infected with the alien virus, he is now obsessed with spreading his seed across planet Earth. In 'Species III' (2004) a fatal hybrid weakness has given humans the advantage in the ongoing fight for supremacy between mankind and human/alien hybrids. However, when Sara (Sunny Mabrey), the daughter of Eve is born, she grows into the most genetically perfect alien form yet. Finally, in 'Species IV - The Awakening' (2007), college professor Miranda Hollander (Helena Mattsson) realises something is wrong when she wakes up from a blackout surrounded by mutilated bodies. Seeking an explanation from her uncle, she learns the horrifying truth: she is the result of a cloning of human and alien DNA. Travelling to Mexico to confront the scientist responsible, she soon becomes the target of a stream of ravenous mutants.
