When the humans return, determined to make Pandora their new home, Jake leads the fight against them but the family is soon forced to leave their tribe and seek sanctuary with the oceanic Metkayina clan. Finally, in 'Avatar: Fire and Ash' (2025) Jake, Neytiri and their children have settled into life with the Metkayina clan but are struggling to cope with their grief following the death of their son Neteyam (Jamie Flatters).
