Meanwhile, a group of Jewish American soldiers known as 'The Basterds', led by First Lieutenant Aldo Raine (Pitt), joins forces with German actress and undercover agent Bridget von Hammersmark (Diane Kruger) to take down the leaders of The Third Reich. The Basterds cross paths with Shosanna when her cinema, which has been commandeered by the Nazis for the screening of their latest propaganda film, becomes the target for their next attack. In 'Kelly's Heroes' (1970), a group of soldiers led by Kelly (Eastwood) capture a German general in occupied France. He reveals the location of a bank housing 14,000 bars of Nazi gold, which Kelly and his men set out to steal. The only problem is that the bank lies 30 miles behind enemy lines. In 'Where Eagles Dare' (1968) seven Allied agents are selected to rescue an American general from the impenetrable German fortress Schloss Adler. In charge of the team is British Major Smith (Richard Burton), with American Lieutenant Schaffer (Eastwood) as second in command. Parachuting into the enemy territory in German uniforms, the squad discover one of their number dead on arrival and Smith suspects that he may have a traitor amongst his unit.<br/><br/><i>Typ: Blu-ray</i>

'Flags of Our Fathers' (2006) is based on the book by James Bradley and Ron Powers. In February 1945, even as victory in Europe was finally within reach, the war in the Pacific raged on. One of the most crucial and bloodiest battles of the war was the struggle for the island of Iwo Jima, which culminated with what would become one of the most iconic images in history: five Marines and a Navy corpsman raising the American flag on Mount Suribachi. But the surviving flag raisers had no interest in being held up as symbols and did not consider themselves heroes; they wanted only to stay on the front with their brothers in arms who were fighting and dying without fanfare or glory. 'Letters from Iwo Jima' (2006) is based on the book 'Picture Letters from Commander in Chief' by Tadamichi Kuribayashi. The island of Iwo Jima stands between the American military force and the home islands of Japan. Therefore the Imperial Japanese Army is desperate to prevent it from falling into American hands and providing a launching point for an invasion of Japan. General Tadamichi Kuribayashi (Ken Watanabe) is given command of the forces on the island and sets out to prepare for the imminent attack. General Kuribayashi, however, does not favour the rigid traditional approach recommended by his subordinates, and resentment and resistance fester among his staff.<br/><br/><i>Typ: Blu-ray</i>

Private Schofield (George MacKay) and Private Blake (Dean-Charles Chapman) have been tasked with delivering a message across the enemy line which will save the battalion from a deadly ambush into which they are currently being lured. Blake, however, has taken the mission even more personally, after learning that his brother is among the men in danger. The film recounts the heroism of conscientious objector Desmond T. Doss (Garfield) amid the blood and thunder of the Battle of Okinawa during World War II. When most in his town are enlisted to the army, Doss is motivated to sign up as well. However, due to his beliefs, he refuses to handle a weapon and instead intends to serve in the field as a medic. After campaigning to be allowed to go into battle unarmed, Doss is assigned to the 77th Infantry Division and sent to Okinawa to fight under Captain Glover (Worthington). With the American forces suffering severe casualties in their assault on the Japanese, Doss springs into action by selflessly putting himself in the line of fire in a heroic attempt to save the lives of his injured comrades. The film was nominated for three Golden Globe Awards for Best Motion Picture - Drama, Best Director - Motion Picture (Gibson) and Best Performance By an Actor in a Motion Picture - Drama (Garfield), five BAFTAs including Best Leading Actor (Garfield) and Best Adapted Screenplay, and six Academy Awards including Best Picture, Best Actor (Garfield) and Best Director (Gibson).<br/><br/><i>Typ: Blu-ray / 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray</i>
