While having lunch with her daughter Christy (Jamie Bernadette), Jennifer is abducted by a group of her attackers' relatives, who have joined together to avenge their loved ones. In 'The Hunger' (1983), Catherine Deneuve and David Bowie are a pair of modern-day vampires on a desperate hunt for fresh blood to survive. In 'Innocent Blood' (1992), vampire Marie (Anne Parillaud) has a taste only for the blood of bad guys, in particular Mafia boss Salvatore Macelli (Robert Loggia). However, when she gets her teeth into him, she fails to kill him and instead turns him into a vampire. Macelli plans to transform his fellow hoods into vampires, thinking it would be good for business. Meanwhile, Marie is left to rue her error and joins up with Detective Joseph Gennaro (Anthony LaPaglia) to stop the mobster. Finally, in 'Body Snatchers' (1993), teenage girl Marty Malone (Gabrielle Anwar) moves with her father, stepmother and stepbrother to a military base where her father has a new job investigating environmental hazards.
