INFORMATION OM PRODUKTEN
Beloved Swedish author--illustrator Elsa Beskow's charming vintage illustrations bring to life this classic Hans Christian Andersen tale of a thumb-sized girl who has big adventures.
Thumbelina is so small she sleeps in a walnut shell bed with a violet petal mattress and rose petal sheet. One day, a toad takes her from her home and keeps her captive on a water-lily pad, until some fish set her free. Thumbelina makes her way through the countryside, where she meets May bugs, butterflies, a field mouse and a swallow.
Will Thumbelina ever find a new home among friends?
Elsa Beskow's signature illustrations have been known and loved for over a century. This wonderful mini gift edition of Thumbelina faithfully reproduces Beskow's classic nostalgic illustrations in an adorable small format -- ideal for little hands.
