Documentary focusing on the seven days following the death of Princess Diana. The programme examines the immediate aftermath of Diana's death on 31st August 1997, from the initial announcement of her death to the funeral, and the unprecedented outcry of grief it provoked in the British public and the royal family. Those close to Diana, including her sons Princes William and Harry, discuss how they dealt with the trauma and highlight the impact of her life while contemporary public figures, such as then Prime Minister Tony Blair, contribute their memory of events, including the monarchy's carefully managed response to the tragedy and its conflict with the media.
