British drama directed by Colin Gregg which follows several young Royal Navy sailors over the course of 24 hours before they are due to embark on a six-month naval exercise. Although some men spend time with their families including Douglas (Timothy Spall), whose wife is pregnant, Malcolm (Martin Barrass) just wants to drink while Steve (John Altman) is looking for companionship.
