Blender: Ängel utan vingar 2016 [CD]

Ett nytt studioalbum + en bonusdisc med Dolly-hits!

Album 1 innehåller 10 låtar med två bonusspår och album 2 innehåller tio hits ur Dollys katalog såsom "9 to 5", "Coat of Many Colors" och "Jolene".

Om sitt nya album säger Dolly Parton:
"I may not be pure, but I'm as simple as they come! This new Pure & Simple project is really special to me because I'm taking my fans back to my roots. I feel like these songs have a pure, tender side and we didn't go overboard with arrangements. I'm so glad we've teamed up with our friends at Sony to get this album out to the fans."

"On this album, I've arrived HERE. A place where I'm willing to truthfully look at myself in the mirror and to also see the reality of who we have become in this world. The good, the ugly, the shadows and the light. I've come to realize that in order for us to grow and to understand and accept each other we have to recognize the complexity of ourselves. We have to be able to talk about it and meet each other where we are, HERE."

Approximately five years ago we released the album" Jazz & the city", which became an immediate success with more than 30 000 albums sold. Now we dare to repeat this success - this time with a completely unique content!

One of the CDs in this 2CD box contains Nordic material only, which we market as "Divas of Nordic Jazz". It's a selection with some of the most celebrated and known young Nordic female jazz singers from the Nordic countries, with a good foothold in their respective home countries.
You have most probably heard of Rigmor Gustavsson, Helle Brunvoll, Sophie Pettersson, Zelma, Ira Kaspi, Gunhild Nyborg, LaGaylia Frasier. If not, it's an excellent opportunity to buy this compilation!

These names give the tone of CD1 with modern, smart and sensual jazz, which the Nordic region has gotten itself known for in the Jazz world.

Listen to the album and dream yourself away while you glance through this well designed "coffee table"-box with its beautiful pictures in a New York atmosphere.

CD2 contains standards by famous jazz legends in unique interpretations. This is not the Rat Pack - this is the Jazz Legend Party Pack. so what do you say? We say - Jazz & the city!
