The old days of the Wild West are passing, and outlaw-turned-sheriff Pat Garrett (Coburn) is determined to move with the times. But with his former partner Billy the Kid (Kristofferson) still at large in the territory, and the wish of the cattle barons that the rule of law be imposed with greater and greater force, Garrett soon realises that his initial compromise will eventually lead him to betray everything he believes in. The cast also includes Richard Jaeckel, Katy Jurado, Chill Wills and Bob Dylan.

Typ: DVD / Special Edition

Charlton Heston plays the lead role in this Sam Peckinpah Western. As Major Dundee he joins forces with his sworn enemy (Richard Harris) to form a small, ruthless army who are to go on a mission of revenge after an Apache massacre of US Cavalry troops. They follow a trail into Mexico where they battle the murderous Indians as well as the French Army.
